DESCRIPTION

Vinyasa Flow is similar to Ashtanga, there is an inherent quality to both practices which is movement.

The body becomes warmer as we practice but the head should stay cool (please if your head feels hot, slow down). Like in Ashtanga you will find again Ujayii breath and bandhas. Posture are held for about 5 breaths.

Sequences of postures will vary from one practice to the next, one day we might work on balancing Vata Dosha, another day we might work on strengthening and lengthening the quadriceps, and again on another day we might want to explore posture related to the hips.

A thick blanket placed underneath the knees helps if your knees are sensitive.
